Trouble with apple tv/airplay

Hey!

so I have an Apple TV 3rd generation and ive been using that as an external monitor while hooked up to a second display on my mac (as m1 macs dont support 2 external displays). The problem is, recently overtime I turn on airplay, websites like netflix, peacock, and any other streaming service besides youtube wont display while airplay is on. It worked before but isn't now. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks in advance
