Do a clean install of an up to date NVIDIA graphics driver.

Go into task manager and find out why your CPU usage is so high.

Check RAM usage too.

First, measure CPU clock speeds. The motherboard you have is notorious for having an absolutely terrible VRM solution and your CPU could be power throttling. Also, go into BIOS and see if the on-CPU TPM is enabled, there have been stuttering issues reported with using the on-chip TPM solution for AMD CPUs that are currently being fixed (though Valorant IIRC requires TPM to be enabled, at least if you're using Windows 11)

You actually want it disabled. It only causes issues when it's enabled.

The CPU is running at 500MHz in that screenshot. It's throttling for some reason or another, monitor VRM and CPU temperatures to see which one.

ur cpu usage and boost clocks don't look right, but we can't just recommend a motherboard change based on that info.

tbh i thought it might be temps - that would be easy - but looking at your screenshots temps are low, so its unlikely.

i would recommend to clear CMOS, load default settings and dont overclock anything, not even XMP and see if that improves anything.

If that doesnt help, i would try a BIOS update (relatively new CPU that might just be it)

cleared CMOS but the same thing happens, no XMP enable, is running at 2666mhz, with xmp would be 3600mhz

But now your gpu (and cpu) seem to work normally, gpu 97%…

very strange tbh…

Dont change anything now and run 3dmark Firestrike (free demo on steam) and link the results here. at this point we need as much data as possible to figure this out…

ok, while thats still strange in regards to the screenshots you posted, this result pretty obviously shows there is nothing wrong with your hardware or windows install…

Also since the last one shows normal utilization i would really refrain from any overclocking, not even xmp… as you can see your results are *above* average …

now maybe you can explain the "stuttering" a bit better, is it low fps all the time (like 5-11fps or whatever) or does this only happen  occasionally?

I would also make sure afterburner and nvidia settings are at default, maybe theres some weird frame limiter going on… also any games i would reset to default settings (for the same reason )

And maybe reinstall afterburner too, its a good tool, but it definitely can make issues too…

Otherwise Im out of ideas lol sorry, according to this 3dmark result your games should definitely run normally, at least 60fps or something. Its really odd - but again , i dont see how this could be a hardware issue since Firestrike is actually pretty demanding.

happens occasionally lets say im playing lost ark for 10 minutes and it works normally and suddenly frames drops, as well in valorant and the FPS is over 144 then drops suddenly to 10 FPS and after a few seconds it regains the FPS.

will restore afterburner and nvidia and test again.

the only thing i can think that could be causing that are the single rank dimms (16gb (2x8) 3600 Mushkin Redline)

just leave everything at default but make sure its running, ie minimize, dont close the window fully, otherwise it stops running.

nah, single rank isnt ideal, but it shouldn't cause these issues. funny enough the standby cleaner deals with the RAM, so it could just be kind of an incompatibility, but that should take care of it …

read the description in the link, its explained pretty well, even though the real cause isnt known, point is its (possibly) a windows memory bug.
