Where to find RAM height?

Are there any good resources to find the height of memory modules, as I'm not seeing it on their spec sheet. And want to get a nh-d15; but i'm afraid I'm going to order ram that is too tall

Check a few different retailer pages. Amazon, for example, lists the product dimensions for some RAM kits. Not sure where it comes from, so should be cross-referenced it possible.

You can determine it from pictures, if the pictures are not taken at a weird angle ...

The ram sticks are ~ 133 mm wide (around 127mm from the first contact to the last) :

So you can open the picture in paint or whatever, count the pixels and you know that many pixels are 133 mm or 127 mm in real world. So then you can count the pixels vertically and see how tall the stick is.

The default is 133.5 x 31.4  or  5.25" x 1.23"  ... as you can see in the amazon listing above those are 1.54" tall, 1.75" tall ... and the width is a bit bigger because they measure the heatsink at the top edge, above the clips, not the circuit board.

just buy plain normal ram sticks that roughly have the "normal" profile that the super-budget bare DIMMS have. you're not gonna see your fancy RGB underneath a D15 either way, and most normally sized dimms will fit fine enough.

i'm using a set of corsair LPX DDR4 under a NH-D15 and it's fine. do make sure your case has a bit of extra space above the cpu cooler, because you wont be able to put the fan all the way down. (but worst case, you can put the fan on the other side as a pull setup.)

on that note.. DDR5 DIMMS may be an issue, since from first sights they appear to be taller to fit the voltage stuff and appropriate cooling.
