Welcome!

In response to a recent thread about the vehicles you own, I thought I would make one about what RC vehicles you own!

Please post your own unique pictures, not a stock photo from the internet!

Cars, boats, planes, helis, anything you own that is RC! :D

This is my brushless Traxxas Rustler, not fully upgraded yet:

I've loved RC since I was very little, for quite some time I had a Traxxas Slash 2WD but I got into a sticky bit of life and needed some cash so I sold it.

Had a metal gear servo on it and it broke.  Haven't really played with it in over 2 years.  I put about $500 in it and if I wanted to use it again I'd have to dish out like $150 for a servo and batteries (since the old ones probably don't hold a charge anymore).  oh the joy of RC

Linux "nerd".  If I helped you please like my post and maybe add me as a friend :)  ^_^!

Interesting. Looking at all of your upgrades I'm surprised that there is so many things that you can do to it. How much do some of these good RC cars weigh and how fast do they go?

depending on the car, there can be thousands of upgrades for it

similar to a PC, you can completely customize it in every way, and even sleeve the cables!

weight depends on size, but it can be anywhere from 5-30 lbs im pretty sure

some of these cars can do 100 or even 150mph+ on straight runs

currently mine only does about 50-70mph

I've got a nitro 2hp buggy, does 100kph, 2 gears and is slightly tuned. Was 4wd but I broke the front dif so it was 2wd mayhem for a while. Couldn't keep it in a straight line though, so I repaired the front dif and then one of te gears had all its teeth ripped off (for the second time) and I can't be fucked getting another one.

so far i would say about $1k total

all the small $10 and $20 upgrades really add up!

but its still a lot less than upgrading my gaming PC :P

thats what i thought. the funny thing is, is that the engines actually work perfectly, maybe even a bit too well :P that zr.30 is good for 4hp and second gear wheelies. not so good for the clutch though, also the other problem with the savage is the 7" tyres destroy the entire steering and i broke the throttle servo mount. on the lightning  i think the shocks are leaking loads and the one way bearing on the rotostart needs replacing. once they are going though they are quite epic. the savage is stupidly fast with its tall gearing and massive tyres and the lightning handles perfectly. dat smell and sound is  epic too, the zr30 with the jp3 is like the muscle car sound of rc's. i just spent so much time upgrading and fixing them on  the bench i just gave up and got into pc's. i will get them back up and running on day but probably not this year.

The shell of my traxxas stampede is all riped so the back pops of the clips and flaps around while driving.

I've broken my car many a time.

1. Crashed into dumpster at full speed (20mph+)

2. Flipped it rely bad and parts broke

3. Going over jump made out of wagon, missed and hit the side breaking it

Much more to.

1 was the worst, needed new servo casing and week support thingi
