I need help in my home theater for speakers and the amplifier

So I bought a new home and I am thinking of implementing a home theater it's a 4m×5m room with built in 4 speakers in each corner with no amp, should I add more speakers/sound bar what kind of amp I should get, I was thinking of the accountant's intel tech upgrade amp/receiver but I think it's way over kill and expensive

I would say grab a Denon receiver with eARC, a used pair of speakers (I personally love Klipsch stuff), and build off of a 2.1 setup.

The "surround" speakers in that room might not be what you'd want to use, but if you have the space, don't get a soundbar, you're just shooting yourself in the foot.

Agreed.  Anything with built-in speakers is going to be of questionable quality.  Even if it was quality originally, who knows how long they've been there, and how well they function.

I'd say that as long as you can control for delay from each speaker independently (virtually any receiver worth a damn), you'll be fine.  And I second the soundbar being a bad idea and a copout.

I would seriously consider 5.1.2 and branch out from there if you want more.

The house was newly built and no one ever hooked them up or used them we are the first residents I asked my dad about thier specs and brand and he told me they were "decent quality" which I don't really trust because they aren't from a know brand

That's like saying the OEM speakers in a new car are "quality".  I mean, YMMV, but as someone who has owned numerous used, older vehicles, OEM speakers are shite.  And that is especially true when you're talking about some high-end brand-sounding names like Bose or something.

I think it would work fine.  I don't have experience with it personally, but I would venture that virtually any 5.1 / 5.2 receiver will do the job adequately.

p.s.

Not a table.  It's my desk.
