Switching to iGPU; process?

Stupid question, but it's late and I don't want to think much.

I'm selling my video card, if I want to switch to the iGPU on my Intel chip, do I just turn off the PC, plug it into the onboard port, pull out the GPU, and it switches over? Or is there another step?

Supposedly the system should automatically make the switch. If not, there should be a setting in the BIOS to set the iGPU as the primary display out. Probably best just to change that setting then remove the GPU.

should be all thats necessary. You could always DDU the DGPU drivers as well and ensure you have the latest intel drivers just to be safe.

Yes, the BIOS setting by default is set to Auto detect iGPU or dGPU.  You'd have to have manually set it to disable integrated graphics where then you'd need a CMOS reset if you removed the dGPU.
