How to recover BIOS 1 in a dual BIOS Gigabyte mobo

I have a Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming K7 motherboard.  After being assured by another web forum (I know, stupid move, should have come here) that this mobo could be adjusted to run Win 11, I followed the tutorial to make the specified BIOS changes. Rebooted and BRICKED !!! No POST, just a black screen.

So now, I'm trying to figure out how to go about recovering BIOS 1. Yes, happily, it's a dual-BIOS mobo.  I have read several different methods on various sites, but no one seems to agree on a definitive method.   Has anyone actually done this successfully ? If so, how ? Thanks in advance for your help.

Oh, also, is there a certain level of BIOS required before enabling fTPM will actually work and not brick the mobo ? The one that I had on BIOS 1 was f10.

So you only made BIOS changes? You didn't like flash the BIOS when this happened?

Kinda confused, a CMOS clear would undo those changes easily or at least revert to a working BIOS.

Are you certain the BIOS is bricked?

I might be missing something

No, no flash, just changed BIOS settings, attempting to make fTPM function.

A simple 'clear CMOS' will do it ? Oh my, color me embarrassed ... never thought of that.

Amazing how one can think in COBOL, Fortran, machine language and C++ and still be so dumb about hardware isn't it?

I will try that when I get home.  Thanks.

Just want to say that I think the blue text was a nice touch.  Very easy on the eyes, thank you.

Lol that made me smile.

If it makes you feel better, I have made some automation based scripts for servers in the past. And sometimes I forgot that a reboot fixed issues lol.
Yeah long as bitlocker is not enabled you are fine ( and since you didn't get w11 setup it wouldn't be, just a note)

Best of wishes

You cant. Secondary BIOS is flashed over primary when system detects it cant boot from the first. It only can be done with a programmer.

Others in posts around the internet have said that as well.  However, the GA-AX370-K7 mobo, in addition to having a dual BIOS also has a switch for Dual BIOS/Single BIOS. If the switch is on Single BIOS, the Secondary will not automatically flash the Primary. But thanks for your reply.
