Thinking about buying a laptop but worried about the ram

So I'm looking for a new laptop for gaming and the ROG Zephyrus G15 seems to be a good fit (the 3060 version), but there seems to be one 8gb module soldered onto the bored and another 8GB module that is replaceable. I'm not sure that 16GB of ram is going to good enough so I might upgrade to 24GB or something like that. The only issue is I've heard that mixing ram storage/Mhz is not the greatest idea, should this be a deal breaker or how terrible is mixing the ram?  Exact model is:

ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503

I am planning to browse the internet, watch YouTube/ other media, use discord, run games such as Valorant, Minecraft, ect, and do some school work on it. Nothing too taxing but I want to do a bit of multi tasking.

16gb is perfectly fine.

You don't really need more than 16GB of RAM. Even if you wanted to add more, I doubt you'd notice the difference between different speeds. I have a 32GB module in my laptop paired with 4GB of soldered RAM.
