The 4430 is enough for gaming. I have it and with the 770 I can run Thief at super mega ultra settings at 1080p and around 50 to 75 frames. But if I would buy a cpu again, I would go with a K, just because overclocking is cool.

should i buy amd. will it work better

It won't make a difference at all if you mean how it will effect your GPU.

It will have lower single core performance and that is something to watch out for.

No. AMD and Intel both work just as well with AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. If you don't want to OC, get a lower-end Haswell i5 (look at @WoodenMarker's post), or just get an FX-6300.

does bottlenecking cause crashes?

No, it just means that your CPU can't keep up with your GPU thus reducing your performance.

Intel core i5-3570k @ 3.4 GHz - Sapphire Radeon HD7870 Ghz OC Ed 1050/1250 - Kingston HyperX 3k 120GB SSD - G.Skill 8 GB's DDR3-1600 MHz

Asus Z77-A mobo - Windows 7 64 bit - Corsair raptor HS30 headset - Corsair CX600 600w PSU - CM hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler

It can run crysis.

DONT MAKE FUN OF ME!!!!!

anyways i used HWMonitor on FAR CRY 3

my game will run for 15 minutes tops

no overclocking

the highest my cpu and gpu get before crashing: GPU- 77C    CPU-34C

is that too hot

Get an 8320 or 8350...The only reason is that you get 8 cores over intel's i5 which will come in handy in future PC games. Also, you save money this way. If you want minimal extra raw performance now, and dont care about the added expense, go with the i5.
