Hello, I am coming to you great folks here for help on my jobs Server PC. I work for a small car lot with only two of us working out of this building. This server has been here for many years and neither of us two employees are particularly computer savvy nor do we know much of anything about this old server, however parts of our job are reliant on this server working and connecting to our work PC's.

A couple of months ago we lost internet to the building, our internet service provider had a tech on the way when the big boss came down to look at it, he unplugged a bunch of stuff and played around and got our internet working, but ever since our server no longer connects to the other computers. I should state here, he also is not a computer guy, he purchased the company and this old server was already here, he has no idea how to fix this either.

I am mildly competent on a PC but I know absolutely nothing about servers and networking. I know our server room is an absolute mess of wires that used to supply many locations and now only does us, but most of the crap is still there and in the way, over complicating things. I can log into the server PC, it runs Windows Server 2003, and it seems to refuse to connect to the internet. My husband came in, also a server novice himself, and confirmed he can not ping the server PC from any other computer in the building.

TL:DR Please help me re-gain access to all of my work files on the server, I know very little about networking and servers but have free reign to try and fix this with your help. I apologize in advance for any dumb questions I ask along the way, but look forward to solving this.

I also attached a single picture of my server room to illustrate the mess of wires I am working with.

This feels like a problem for IT, not a internet forum

I think your boss should get someone that knows what they are doing in to get it all sorted out, if he wants to continue running the business. I can't understand why someone would try and run a business this way.. I know a lot of businesses do, but it still doesn't make sense.
