My 3000Mhz ram ran fine at 3200Mhz. I bought more 3200Mhz ram on accident. Is there a way to get it all to run at 3200Mhz?

Like title says. I had 2x8Gb 3000Mhz Corsair Vengeance ram which was running fine OC'd at 3200Mhz. I accidentally ordered 2x8gb sticks at 3200Mhz. I have everything installed and running now at 2933Mhz. Is it possible to run all of the ram at 3200Mhz since the original sticks I had worked fine at 3200Mhz?

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700x

MSI B450 Tomahawk Max

3000Mhz 2x8Gb

3200Mhz 2x8Gb

1000W PSU

MSI RTX 3080

I should add that when I tried to run everything at 3200Mhz my computer wouldn't even boot to bios and continued to restart.

Is it 3200 LPX? They have issues running with 2000 series Ryzen above 2933.

It is, (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) is the new set. I have also read that. What confuses me is that before I installed these two new sticks, my 3000Mhz had no issue running at 3200Mhz with just those two original sticks in. I have all of the sticks currently running at 3000Mhz now though.

That's good to hear, 3200 is near bleeding edge for 2000 series

Also keep in mind that running 2 sticks is much easier on the memory controller. Running 4 sticks can cause issue even with non-lpx ram.

I'm also gonna blame the 2700X on this. If the sticks ran fine, then the issue is likely the memory controller. Either it can't handle the differences between the two kits, or it just can't handle 4 sticks at 3200 speeds.
