There's both windows 10 and 11 isos, however I don't know if you can use Rufus or BalenaEtcher for windows installation flashing to a disk. I think your best bet if you're on linux would be making a Windows VM and getting Microsoft's tool for flashing windows isos.

You can make a windows bootable disc just like any other bootable disc, no need to a windows VM just to make windows bootmedia.

You can use WoeUSB, https://github.com/WoeUSB/WoeUSB-ng

Yes and no. No you don't need a Windows VM, but Balena Etcher, dd, and most other ISO writers have issues making Windows install drives. There are a couple that work (I forget the name of the one I used off the top of my head) but you usually need to download one specifically designed for it.

@Edward78

I would recommend setting up a flash drive with ventoy. You can do that from Linux. Once they is setup you can fresh and drop in the iso (and any other isos you might want to boot from) and booting the USB you can choose the iso you want to start. It is a very convenient way to keep multiple isos on a single drive and only need to drag and drop in new ones as needed. Been using that for a while now and saves a lot of time and headaches.
