I used to have to wear the whole nine yards- tie, blazer, the lot. As a kid, you gain a new appreciation for the varying applications of ties...including their ability to lock teachers in cupboards and restrain your conquered enemies. The second school I went to had such a bland uniform it was impossible to do anything exciting with it, even if some of the girls tried their very hardest.

seriously one of my classmate's parents tried to sue my highschool(cant remember the reason something about food). They said ok then sue us and we will remove your children from all examinations for the year(academic loophole, if you get removed from all examinations before GCSE you get instant fail in all subjects, you are expelled immediately and well good luck finding after school willing to take you on). Schools in UK will fuck you up if you mess with them

Suing is such a US thing, they sue everything possible. In the rest of the world is ethier too expensive or not worth it, and is seen as something really agressive and gives the person bad rep.

I kind of missed my private school when i went to public school and now in college.

mostly neutral on the matter, if i had to go in with a full on suit though yes id prefer that, i look dapper as hell with my suit which i burnt a lot of money on.

the public middle school(6th through 8th grade) I went to had a uniform policy but it was easy to get around just needed a parents signature to basically say fuck that and you were good lol. Still had to tuck in shirts and not ware dickies because you know that was gang attire. I seem to recall they got rid of the policy my last year there. When my little brother was going there there was a knife fight between students and there were always drug dealers on the corner when I was there lol sadly it wasn't really a bad area either.

 Its very much a us thing. I dont think you see more advertising for lawyers anywhere else in the world that if you go to one city in the us. There are some rather amusing ones I have seen in california though.
