well i updated it and i think that is all i was missing 3-4. I think that is all of them unless you started saying that before june and i don't think you did since i think @MyInnerFred started it on the 14th

That's not what I mean. There are plenty of anime that are in the same genre and settings, but none of them have the same atmosphere as Hyouka. And genre and setting don't make it similar. An example is Seitokai Yakuindomo, it shares some of the same genres but is nothing like Hyouka.
Could you go more into detail on what your talking about because I'll put money on being able to fine at least one thing similar.
One thing I never got about anime is why they have to have 2 minute intro songs. Most of the songs arent even good, the one in Death Note (although I love that show) was just obnoxious death metal. The only songs Ive liked were Mushi-shi and Yu-Gi-Oh GX
Advertisement another want to make anime make profit for their things. Even normal TV in the us has that sort of stuff its just done a bit different and isn't generally a actual song. Also there are plenty of great op's and ed's.

Hmm, hard to explain really. It's just very unique. It's a relatively slow paced anime that doesn't really have much action or anything, but is still somehow captivating to watch. It's also got a slight undertone of creepiness at some points (might just be me that thinks that). 

 

Maybe @MyInnerFred will understand what I mean by nothing really being similar. 

 

With other anime there's almost always something very similar with the exact same plotline (eg. Bad guy has a plan, good guy starts to beat him, then gets knocked down, trains a bit then comes back and wins) - Almost every action anime ever.

I agree with this. It's definitely overrated, but it became popular with non-anime watchers for some reason. Same with Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack on Titan - hate calling it that-). Neither are bad anime, but not as good as they're made out to be. Still looking forward to the anime adaptation of Gun Gale Online though.

I absolutely understand what you mean. Which reminds me I should really REALLY REALLLYYYYY finish writing that review.... Every time I get halfway done I just trash what I've written because it just doesn't sound good enough to do the series justice in my eyes.

I have Monogatari downloaded and ready to be marathoned on my HDD right now. But manga cleans and other things(Heaven Society) have me bogged down. =(
