My PS2 now has a copy of Free McBoot with Open PS2 Loader on it's Memory Card. Yay. 1-2 weeks until the Network Adapter gets here. Now... about my Wii.

If anyone is interested in UtD wallpapers (2560x1440) PM me.

Got home from work. I'm scatterbrained today. Literally drove around without my wallet trying to remember why I was driving around. D:

Will get a bed tomorrow (sleeping on floor in apartment atm).

Might get a 1080p 120Hz 55" TV for cheap (as it's currently broken) for my consoles (older ones only have RGB/YgYbR, so need a TV for them as my monitor only has USB, DisplayPort & HDMI). Don't have any Wii motes. FML. No idea where they went.

Things are coming together.

@TheProfosist, haven't sorted your image dump yet. Got some progress in, but am busy with apartment and stuff.

Nice, I took the lazy route and just use PCX2 on my laptop.

I even got one of those adapter that let me use my PS1 controller with it.

I could do that. I just want 100% accurate emulation while still having access to my "library" on my PC of ripped games and super fast load times.

I used to use swap disks and a top load mod

air mattresses are good for that kind of thing

I like the ability to scale up the native resolution with the emulator, DQ8 looked amazing even at 720p but my FPS went to shit.

Is that a wired or network connection? I remember talking to a few people who also did that, PC -> PS2 loading games.

Wired or Network? Wat. It'd be wired. Or Wireless if I used a USB Wireless Adapter (though that would suck horribly in terms of speed).

IDK, I vaguely remember someone talking about "over the network" and was surprised since ROMs are like 2GB+.

Probably got confused.

... You don't have to load the whole thing.

12.5 MB/s (100 Megabits/s) would take 160ish seconds to move 2GB. But you only need to load that level, or the main menu, or wtv. That'd take like 1 second.

And yeah. That's how it works. :P It only loads the one thing you need. Not the whole thing.
