I'm having second thoughts on my set up

Sat1600

My local microcenter had the ryzen 5 5600g on sale for $200 in November.  I found an open box Gigabyte arus elite b550 atx board. After bundle discount it was $102. They also had open box set of 32gb Ballistix 3200mhz ram for $95. I have a microcenter card that gives me 5% off so $378 total.

This is being paired with an evga rtx 3060ti XC. And runs awesome.

I'm looking at some of the Intel offerings now. They have an I5 11400 for $160 or $152 after discount. And Newegg has this combo for $135 after rebate::

Msi z590-a pro plus 32gb aegis ram. The total would be $287 for about the same or better performance.

Microcenter has extended returns right now, but I really don't feel like taking everything apart and reinstalling everything.

Am I being stupid?

I did a quick search comparing the two and it seems like they are pretty similar? (someone correct me if I'm wrong) I think what you have works but you also need to ask yourself how much time its gonna take and is it worth 100$? Because your time is also worth something.

True. I'm just wondering if I'm being lazy or if there may be other reasons to switch.

the intel setup is slightly faster, but if everything you have on-hand already works, then don't bother switching, worst thing that can happen is if you switch and something doesn't work. There are imperfections in every build and the one you made is a minor one.

I don't know if I would call that an imperfection. I think its more of timing and maybe it is slightly faster, I don't think that makes it a bad system

There is always a chance that a better deal can be found later, but no one can predict the future. I think the best thing to do is to not worry about it and enjoy what you have.

Also, is it worth your time?
