they are both msi gaming x.

 

i think i'll try and get more ram and see if it makes a difference. if not, then formatting it is. i really need to start backing up my hhd more often. i always get lazy and just wait and wait and wait, and when i need to format the hhd, i get headaches....

There are automatic backup systems if it’s something you forget.  Even free ones. They are often totally transparent and easy to set up.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
