How do I change the lights within my PC?

shaun1

I'm having some trouble trying to change the lights within my PC (on the fans). I've downloaded lots of programs to try do this but none seem to fix this problem. I know I need some program to do this however, I can't find which one I need. Do I even need a program to do this or can I just do this in setting. any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Assuming that this PC actually uses the parts in the pictures and those aren't just supposed to be representative of an approximate spec, then most likely you need the Asus Armory Crate software to control the lights through your motherboard.

It's trash, like basically all RGB control software is. Good luck with it.

The front fans (again, assuming the pictures are accurate) appear to be from Thermaltake. There is a chance you might need to use Thermaltake's own software. I haven't used it but I think I can safely guess it's trash.

The CPU cooler looks a lot like an ID-COOLING model with a different sideplate. Only one of those I've ever used connected to an RGB header on the motherboard.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
