I think it's weird that 760Ti and 770 is gonna have 2Gb vram and the 780 3Gb, Should be 3Gb for 760Ti/770 and 4Gb on the 780

To bad the website is in Swedish(?)

Would there be a big performance increase, or will this just be a series of cards with some tweaks and lower power consumption?

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

Hopefully the 780 doesn't have similar performance. That would be a real kick in the ass, to whoever bought GTX Titans.

The Titan is a beautiful card though.

760Ti will have about the same performance as a gtx 680, 770 will be slightly above 680 and 780 slightly below Titan LE

According to the article: 760Ti about the same performance as a gtx 680, 770 about the same performance as an aftermarket overclocked gtx 680 and the gtx 780 slightly slower than Titan

Oh, they talked about it in the comment, that means it must be true. *facepalm*

From a realistic point of view it would make no sense for NVIDIA to already kill the Titan with the 780, so it is safe to assume that the 780 will be somewhat slower than the Titan at stock speeds, not to forget the Titan still sits comfortable for high-res scenarios with it's 6GB of VRAM. (As for the Titan LE and Titan II / Ultra those are still nothing but a rumour as far as I know.)

Yes it's the same as Titan with less vram (probably) and lower clock speeds

I said "Dont take my word on that" and i never said 780 will be faster than Titan, I said it will be slightly slower, again, according to the articles

Then again, this is just a kepler refresh so i'll be skipping this gen :P

From the info it seems that the 780 will only be so slightly behind a titan in performance, yet at half(?) the price. Not bad

I was about to post this as well.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/No-GTX-Titan-LE-Coming-After-All-Just-GTX-780-347629.shtml

The 780 is supposed to cost 600$ yet be almost as fast as the Titan, great value for money for the flagship ? that's a rare sight...

I'm extremely excited now ! very happy I didn't order any graphics cards yet.

I think I may be getting a 770. Seeing as how all the not-even-released consoles have GPUs that are shriveled and impotent next to this level, there is simply no reason to wait any longer. This will probably be a trio of cards that will all last for a long time. Sure, they may not run som far-flung Crysis 4, but who even plays Crytek's crappy games anymore. They've totally let go in the substance department. At any rate, 3+ years is a long while to own a GPU anyway.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

graphics cards are all about cores.

gtx 770 = gtx 680

gtx 760 ti = gtx 670

so it's like everybody thought, same as fermi refresh

gtx 570 = gtx 480

gtx 560 ti = gtx 470

also this seems to support the idea that gtx 680 was originally intended to be GK 110

780 with 5GB? Yeah, sure, really odd to have that kind of RAM on a high end card, might as well use 6GB.

I see they are trying to increase the pricing. $600 for a 780? Doubt it, if Nvidia thinks they can get away with those kinds of prices then people will wait for the 8000 series and choose then, which knowing AMD, they will have the upper hand most likely.

Yeah its an odd amount of ram I expected something like 4- or 6gb...

But can't really be sure about any of what those numbers say as it is not confirmed yet..

But isn't the 8000 also just rebranded 7000 series. Didn't linus unbox a acer recently holding a 8760.. And there's no telling amd's top card will still be priced 400 dollars didnt the 7970 cost like 500 in the beginning 2... I don't need a new card at the moment but it'll be interesting to see what they both come up with..

What I'm trying to say is if the 780 is a somewhat lower Titan and the 8970 is a rebranded 7970 they need to make pretty good improvements on the card.. Cause and this is just gaming dont get me wrong I think a 780 would then be stronger then a 8970..

If the game bundles continue though amd probably still better deal
