EVGA GPU waiting list

Maxxtraxx

So to all the poor souls out there still waiting for the graphics card you would like to purchase... And specifically those waiting in line for a RTX 3080 ftw3 from EVGA.

I inserted myself into EVGA the waiting list on 10/25/20 at 1:50pm EST.

12/14/2021 at 2:01 pm EST I received my email from EVGA and forming me that my time to purchase had arrived.

If you're still in line for that card on EVGAs waiting list, hopefully by comparing when you got on the list to when I got on the list this information could give you some relative idea as to when your spot in line might come up. Hopefully a little bit of encouragement to hang in there.

I'm still on the list for all the 3080's that I put in in December 2020. In January I got my 3090 from BestBuy. Figured I'd just hold out and maybe someone will want my card when that queue finally pops.

Too funny, I signed up almost 1 year ago... I think on Dec 20th. I ended up going out and paying way too much on my Zotac (yuck) 3080 at a local mom and pops computer shop. However if I can get a chance to get my hands on an EVGA FTW card at MSRP, I wouldn't think twice about scooping it up. Dedicate the old Zotac to mining (as it wasn't a LHR card).

I have been on there a similar amount of time, but ended getting a 3080 FE for MSRP a few weeks ago. I doubt I'll ever see a mail from EVGA, but no need anymore.

I actually got an email from EVGA today. I did not even sign up for a wait list. I just clicked "Notify me when available" for RTX 3060 12GB a year ago and forgot about it. I got an email saying that I have a direct buy link, so I got one today for $400! Will get it in a couple of days. Very excited! It's cool to see EVGA going an extra mile

This is the resource I used to estimate my queue position when I was waiting for a graphics card. It's crowd-sourced, but it is fairly accurate.

I don't like praising a company without mentioning a drawback as well, but EVGA really did make it easy for people to be able to get on line for a graphics card even if it does take forever to get it. Their Step-Up queue is also separate from their GPU queue, so if you do have an EVGA card you can register and step-up from, you could actually get harder to get cards more easily (I got my 3080 FTW3 through a step-up from a 3060 XC).

It's entirely possible that I misinterpreted/misread your topic and/or question. This happens more often than I care to admit. Apologies in advance.

They certainly have contractual product order obligations to retailers that they have to fulfill first, so I don't expect them to abandon those agreements they made in good faith. But, they're the only GPU party to make an effort to help their enthusiast audience. They've not only set up a queue to get you in line, they've purposely prioritized customers who haven't received a card from them yet. So they've made what seem like good faith efforts that no-one else that I've seen has even attempted to make.

Yea if people dont like it, they are more than welcome to go to a store to and get one. Or facebook.
