would make it too easy to farm rep, so regardless of the work involved, i don't think it's something that should be implemented anyway

Even bigger pro tip, use forum search and restrict to subforum. Forum search has better options than Google, and works well.

I was talking about quick, general searches. Google has always worked better for me in that regard, just as it does with Reddit.
