Need Help choosing power supply for monitor

Excepsi

Hello so I have an Acer ED320QR S monitor and lost the power cable. I am wanting to get one at my local best buy but do not know if it will fit. The monitor asks for 12v 3.5 amps. But the power cable at my local best buy is in volts. The power cable is https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-15-6-w-4-9-ft-universal-ac-adapter-black/5019131.p?skuId=5019131 and I would like to know if it will work.

PC SPECS:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x

GPU: RTX 2060 XC Ultra

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 2400

MotherBoard: Gigabyte X470 Ultra Gaming

PSU; EVGA SuperNova 850W G2

COOLER: Noctua nh-u14s

Your cable's electrical specs are not in volts but in watts.

You can use simple math to calculate the current, but the spec sheet already says it: "A device is compatible if the 1) correct tip is available, 2) voltage is between 3 and 12 V DC, 3) input does not require more than 1.3 A of current, and 4) polarity is positive. Not for use with laptops."

So no, it will not work as the current is way too low.

That won't work. That is rated for 12V 1.3A while your monitor needs 12V 3.5A.

With a new power adapter the output voltage needs to be the same: 12V. The specs for your monitor list 26W power draw when on, so you could possibly get away with a 12V 2.5A adapter but I would just try and get a 12V 3.5A adapter to match the old one. Just make sure it has the right plug that goes in to the monitor.
