What would make you switch/upgrade?

I've been wanting to upgrade to the 2011 socket CPUs for a while now, but the lack of clean, black motherboards has been holding me back. If Asus released a 2011 sabertooth motherboard I would switch straight away.

What's something that you want to change, but something is holding you back?

EDIT: I meant a sabertooth with the armour. It doesn't exist to my knowledge

BTW there is already a Sabertooth X79. 

 

I'd only upgrade to 2011 when X79 moved in to this century and supported TRIM to SSD array on the intel controller. Only supported on Z67 and up and C606

I would personally go to full watercooling, but the only thing I could use watercooling on is my cpu so I would have to upgrade all of my computer.

As someone already pointed, there is a 2011 Sabertooth mobo. But it's hardly black and clean, like pretty much all sabertooths it has a green & brown desert theme.

I mean with the thermal armour. Without it, I find it really ugly

I want to get myself a new monitor, but 4k and gsync isn't a thing yet. When that exists and doesn't cost me my first born child, I'm buying it.
