Use DDU to remove the old drivers and install new ones.

Got a 6800xt on the way to replace my Vega 64, do I need to uninstall the drivers and reinstall when the new card is in or should it all just work?

Usually safest to just install new drivers once you install the new card, as it minimizes potential headaches. As stated earlier, you can use DDU to remove the old one.

DDU has a "Clean and Shutdown" for exactly this purpose. When its shutdown, swap the cards, boot back up and install the latest drivers for the new card.
