Unable to display 10 bit content?

QiuShanBeiKun

Not sure where I did wrong but youtube contents and many games I play still have this color gradient.

Specs: Asus 3090, LG CX 55 Tv, HDMI 2.1 cable.

Nvidia control panel with following setting:

TV has HDMI ultra deep color enabled.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Most content is sRGB or REC 709 8-bit. Setting your color depth to 10bit in Nvidia control panel won't do anything if the content is 8 bit. Simple as that.

The gradients you see are either because of the content or because your monitor (in this case TV) isn't very good at handling smooth gradiation. And TV's are known to have overall worse gradient handling. You can try out the gradiation smoothing that is present in your TV picture settings.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
