It's about 30€ over budget, but it should be one hell of an upgrade. 5900X so you've got 12 cores with some of the highest single threaded performance out now, so you can run a lot of VMs off it. 32GB of RAM, I would have preferred it to be faster but I was really trying to fit a 5900X in there so some concessions had to be made. Very well rated 750w PSU so you won't have to upgrade it as long as you aren't gonna get like a 3090. The motherboard isn't the greatest, but it should be enough as long as you aren't overclocking like crazy.

Hi guys, i need help to upgrade some components of my pc.

Budget (including currency): about 900€

Country: IT

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly for gaming but also for programming and running virtual machine

Other details:

I need to change the motherboard and the PSU, I know that the video card is a bottleneck but i'm going to change it probably in one or two year.
I've an old "MSI Z97 Gaming 5" so i need to change also the ram and the processor, I'd prefer an AMD processor.
For future upgrades I'd prefer to take a PSU with at least 700w.

Currently i've 16GB of ram and they're pretty ok but if it's possible I'd like to install at least 32GB.

I don't need any peripherals

Here are my specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/f6JJYg

How long can you wait? We might see Alder Lake soon and it can be better for your budget

Ryzen 6000 is supposed to come out not long after Alder Lake, so it still might be a good idea to wait even if you strictly want to go AMD.
