  1. I want to test the PA120 soon and I also want to purchase a sound meter, for example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001982895376.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.562f6b121Q5UpN&algo_pvid=f8de644e-2d6e-4bd0-9fc0-93394fb2db67&algo_exp_id=f8de644e-2d6e-4bd0-9fc0-93394fb2db67-0&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"12000018307416794"} Is it accurate enough? Do you know of any cheap meter that is also accurate?
  2. I just ordered the PA120 which is rated for 245w!!() I think it can handle 11600k well, wish I could try it on an actual 11600k. Ok now I'm leaning towards leaving my 5600x as is. It just started with the USB issues if you saw my other post which is why I even started thinking about replacing everything. Hopefully the latest bios update actually fixed it. But i still think about returning it just because AMD's disgusting behavior of hiding the cause for it. As they call it "root cause". So lame. At least let us know what is the reason for the 500 chipset issue instead of being
  3. Ahh how could I miss this video Thank you If I can hold a little bit more with my old PC and return the 5600x - you think it will be worth waiting for something like 12600k. Right now some benchmarks show 12900k is like 30% better than its AMD equivalent so I can only hope that the 12600k will also be at least 20% better than 5600x?
  4. Amazon is the best. I've been buying for years as international customer. You can buy with confidence. If you get anything broken they've got your back. I was pissed off at them recently for taking slightly more import fees than needed but it was fixed. In terms of shipping - they're the fastest, best tracking, best shipping carriers, and if anything happens you're backed by their service. I wouldn't worry. Also you have their free returns
  5. I saw in Tom's Hardware that the 11600k is actually better. And since for PBO with the 5600x you need a decent cooler anyway, the TDP doesn't really matter. I don't know why I just rushed and bought the 5600x. So now that the 11600k is cheaper and more powerful, is there any reason to stay with the 5600x? Might as well wait for Alder Lake at this point after all the benchmarks that are surfacing
  6. Yooo you changed the CPU but you forgot to change your signature to R5 and not R9
  7. Is anyone interested in the results I'll get? Including noise My specs are 5600x + Tomahawk b550, 16gb 3600Mhz 2x8GB For reference: With stock cooler and PBO on, I throttled at 95C immediately
  8. I won't be surprised if in MY country it's sleeve bearing! Because usually everything here is almost twice in price, and suddenly this PSU is so cheap for Tier A? Yea right! Is there a way to check before I buy it? Although the white color EAG seem to be the good one *Edit: Why isn't the MSI A-PG in "low priority" I haven't found any decent review about it. Only a Reddit post asking if it's a good PSU
  9. But you pretty much always need these two cables - the motherboard and CPU connectors, so it's not that bad, no? It really looks exact, any idea why @IIIIIIIIII say it downgraded?
  10. Some of the options I found: Corsair RM750x (170$) Antec HCG Gold 750w (125$) Corsair CV750 (105$) Cooler Master MWE GOLD 750 (110$) Cooler Master MWE GOLD 750 - V2 (115$) Corsair TX650m (120$) be quiet! PURE POWER 11 700W CM (120$) Corsair CX750F RGB (white color) (130$) **Converted local currency to USD
  11. I just thought it would be better to buy the PSU in a local store because of warranty.. I think shipping a PSU back to US would cost me more than a PSU if anything happens Unless some companies just ask for some photos instead of actually shipping them the PSU in case something happens? (The MPG and Enermax are not available locally)
  12. The psu tier list has 2 Earthwatts, one pre 2018 which is low-priority and one post 2018 which seem to be Tier A and silent These are some images from the local store website: (Edit: It was out of stock and now back in stock)
  13. I just watched on a GN video that jonnyGURU himself said he is not an electrical engineer. So that's amazing to become such expert without a degree. I never knew you can be in an electrical engineering job without actual degree, wonder if in our times it is still possible Damn I got dropped off University recently and I can't even find a tech support job
  14. I don't think I would care about flexible cables. So from what you say (It's Aris) I guess he is a famous expert in the field? I knew he was good! And I just watched 2 videos now
  15. Looks like there was some mistake, and they changed description (Google Translate), and even after the change, they left the 650w and 750w together:
  16. hahaha from his work place, the two people who found it helpful are his colleagues
  17. How to connect PSU directly to monitor? (product link: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Supernova-Modular-Warranty-220-G6-0750-X1/dp/B08WJJQRGB/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=evga+g6&qid=1632513529&sr=8-3#customerReviews)
  18. Maybe the last time he bought a PC was back then
  19. Haha exactly the review was funny enough and then I saw the two people who found it helpful and it made me giggle out loud Wait! I didn't notice the 650w and 750w until you said it haha haha has to be! I'm gonna post it now
  20. This guy does nice reviews on PSUs: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAzta_ecZV9Hcz7Mavpvdaw Seems like the Leadex III has high power on time and it also has capacitors in the cables which I was worried about the RMx but I don't even know if it's really that bad thing. Is it?
  21. I just saw this review on Amazon on the EVGA Supernova G6 PSU: Just found it amusing and sharing it here (Maybe it should go to off-topic?) (product link: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Supernova-Modular-Warranty-220-G6-0750-X1/dp/B08WJJQRGB/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8)
  22. Update: The Super Flower Leadex III Gold is only 99$ right now, that should be a good deal no? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07THV8Z1F/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=A19WYSVYJ6K6DG&psc=1 Is it the right one on the Tier list? Golden color in Tier A in the tier list?
  23. I heard the new RMx (2021) has capacitors in the cables? Is it bad? And also, this new RMx series is more expensive than the old one .. Corsair became so expensive T_T. Corsair would definitely be my first option, but I can't afford it now I can really remember, unless it was all in my imagination that RM or RMx 750w were sold for around 90$ and the CX was like 40-50$
  24. Just did, if it matters for anyone, I'll update this post with their answer
