when I'm playing games my gpu is locked at %100 usage ( in every game i play ) and my cpu is at %30 usage what can i do to make this more balanced or at least take some load off the gpu i feel like it shouldn't be at %100 in something like Minecraft
my specks are
msi b450 tomahawk max
ryzen 5 1600 (over clocked 3.85 ghz )

rtx 2070 super ( over clocked)

16gb ddr4  3300

You can't decide the processing like that, each device (gpu or cpu) is doing different calculations.

That sounds like a cooling problem. Since vanilla minecraft should not be pushing your video card that hard.

Can you run a temp monitor and see how fast your GPU reaches thermal limits. If its running at the limit just sitting in windows then its something running in the background, or a cooling issue.

Unless you see an actual decrease in performance, this is not a problem.

Most games are GPU limited so the GPU being maxed out is basically good. There is no issue with it running at 100% if it's temps are under control.

I am not sure where this trend of people buying expensive hardware and then being afraid to get the most out of it comes from.

It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. This is actually good, better than other way around, trust me...

Also low cpu usage could mean a game just doesn't use all cores, nothing u can do about it, and its not necessarily a bad thing at all.

Yup, I don't get it either,  here's me playing a "2021 battle royale game " fully maxed out and everything dandy.

Now why should I make a thread about this? It runs fine and low temps/usage etc, is actually awesome. Fans not even turning 🤷‍♀️

are you using an HD texture pack or doing something hard on graphics

seeing 100% GPU in Minecraft is relatively rare

Actually that is quite good it means your GPU is working as intend to.

Otherwise it would be bottleneck with CPU.

It all depends what game you play, there are some games which can utilize more cores and more load like Far Cry 5,assasins creed etc...

I don't see why it bothers you.

Less demanding games will load your GPU to 60-70 %.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.
