Riser Cables makes my RTX 3080 slower
What that says is the card is capable of running 4.0 x16, but it's currently running at 3.0 x1. 3.0 is normal since it's all your machine supports but x1 is not normal under load.
So if your riser's connectors are clean and really plugged correctly on both ends and into the top mobo slot it likely broke during the swap.
