So, I currently have a EVGA GTX 770 and I wanted to upgrade. But I don't know what I should do. I wanted to get a 780ti, but I don't know if I should wait for the next gen cards to come out and spend my money on that.

What do you guys think?\

Hey, welcome to the forum. If your running the typical single 1080P monitor and all your games run smooth with good FPS then really, no it is not work upgrading unless you have the money but, even then i would personally wait for the 800 cards at least.

THE PIT VIPER SPECS

4790k @ 4.7ghz  (EVGA CLC 360MM) | 32GB Patriot Viper Extreme @2133 mhz | Asus Z97-DELUXE Cooler Master H500M.| EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3

My first answer is no save your money. However if you explain what this rig is used for and the reasoning you want to upgrade that answer may or may not change.

U have a pretty solid rig...dont upgrade now and save some bucks...in 2-3 months we will get the whole performance review about the 800 series...then plan ur upgrade...not until then...

Well, thanks for all the help guys. I think with a lot of people saying to wait for the 800 series cars that's what I'm going to do. And while I'm waiting ill have time to save up to get something like the 890 when it comes out. Thanks again :)

That probably isn't the best idea. The 890 would just be a more expensive 880 sli with worse cooling.
