Is a last year HP omen 15 a good pick-up

Hi All

 

I live in Europe and my go to forum is shut down so I hope I could find some advice here. 

 

I'm looking for a new laptop because the one I'm using now have some keyboard issues.

I cannot fixit it my self and making it would cost me around 200€. 

 

I like some light pc gaming so I was searching in the gaming laptop section. 

 

I found a last year HP omen 15 on sale for €999 (1180 USD) old price 1399 (1652USD). 

The spec's are the following: 

AMD ryzen 7 ( 4800H)

RTX 2060

16GB ram

60 Hz display, I don't play shooters so I think it will be fine. 

 

On paper I think it's a nice machine but what are your opinions? 

 

Maybe one of you have another suggestion?

Price is around 1000€ (1200USD).

I like playing the total war games

Moded stardew valley.

Maybe with a better machine I would also look for some open world games in the genre of the Witcher III. I like it a lot on console

Oh yeah they are pretty good machines. But can you have a look for the lenovo legion 5? They have new units for 1049€ with specs that would basically be a match but the screen in them is better and they are more efficient. Here i mean the 5600 + 3060 model.
