Huawei Matebook D14 Limited "Hardware" Updates

deoxys10

I took the risk of getting a 2020 Huawei Matebook D14 with 8GB built-in RAM (only 6.9 used as shared to the built-in GFX) and am trying my best to maximize 8GB for home and school use.

Any tips on how I can prevent peaking at around 70% of my RAM usage even though am just using it mostly for browsing? I only have 6 tabs opened on MS Edge, and already running at 65% on RAM usage. I did disable all possible startup apps that are not needed for my day-to-day tasks.

PS: Big fan of this community, and of LTT group.

you can try using firefox to reduce ram usage and also there are some iso that are very stripped down and use far less ram than a stock. p.s in the settings app turn off background apps (it may or may not help)
