All the time. I think I'd go mad if I was restricted to just one working area. Right now I have music playing on one workspace, and I'm browsing the forum on another.

I have never figured out what is saved by having say music playing on a different virtual desktop vs just minimizing the app...

That specific example I guess there was hardly any benefit. It's an organization tool. I like to put different activities on different workspaces, and it gets really useful when I'm doing something much more complex than music and forum browsing. It's also useful for stuffing windows that need to be open but don't need to be interacted with into a different area, like a massive file transfer for example. Have them on one workspace, and do your stuff on another. I've been spoiled so much by multiple workspaces, I don't know if I could stay sane if restricted to one.

Would you rather deal with a large bin full of tons of stuff, or multiple organized bins?

I've been doing this so long I guess it's just hard to conceptualize... like a download, I just minimize or open another window on top of it... not saying it's bad or good, just can't wrap my head around it.
