as much as peaches are good, you dont expect the flavor, it can be very sweet or very sour.

Pineapple!

Grow it yourself, fresh pineapple is nothing like store pineapple or canned pineapple. It's like a totally different fruit.

Yeah, it takes a year or two before you see your first pineapple but I'll tell you, it's well worth it!

The watermelon we've had this year hasn't been good.

From Florida, if it makes a difference. Really dry, not much water, too much melon!

Haven't noticed it like this ever. First one we got, we were like what the heck.

Next one, a few weeks later, same thing.

Off tangent but my less favorite fruit to scan at the register is the kiwano melon. Spiky little suckers.

 

Apricots and yellow peaches are my favorites.

That sucks! I've had a lot of really good ones here. I think they've mostly been from Mexico.

I like Cherries. However I just bought some sun dried Apricots. They are pretty good. I might try the sun dried Mangos next. Trying to expand my horizons. 

 

Grapes are also good but I gotta be in the mood.

How do dates compare to prunes?

prunes are quite diffrent but if you buy dates try the sukkari or the majdool kinds. in my opinion there the best.

Anyone try pluots/plumcots? I like plums and apricots so I wonder what they taste like together as one fruit.
