Best case for airflow between Phanteks/Corsair prebuilt choices?

MultiGamerClub
Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

P400A is by far the best IMO here. You will likely want to buy a few fans to fill it out though as the 2 stock leave something to desire, but a few cheap Arctic P12s or P14s will fill it up nicely and are quite cheap and provide a close level (10-15%) of performance to Noctua fans.

Same can be had for any. The more air, the better.

Phanteks Eclipse P400A Black

2x120mm (1front/1back)

Corsair Carbide Series 275Q

1x 120mm front, 1x 120mm back

Corsair 4000D Airflow Midi Tower

1x 120mm front, 1x 120mm back

Phanteks Eclipse P500 Air

2x 140mm front

Corsair Obsidian 500D Tempered Mid Tower

1x 120mm front, 1x 120mm back

Currently thinking of going for the P400A Black with 1 front 120mm and one in the back but is this really enough for a prebuilt?

(Prebuilt for a friend of mine, but seeing as we got maybe 60-70€ leftover from a 1900~ budget €.. Might aswell ask.

is it enough?  Depends on the build.

I really like Phanteks cases, so I'd def say they're good.

These 3 should have the best air flow, because they have an open front panel.

But as long as your GPU doesn't turn down it's clock speed because of overheating, it doesn't really matter.

These cases are what the OP has available from a Prebuilt vendor, so getting there own case is likely not feasible or possible.

Will order the pc today 11nd august. From the coolers avaible is this on the prebuilt:

coolers.thumb.PNG.f7ca94532214b9a4e495d0201c7e93b1.PNG

So its basicly limited to a certain few coolers.. Even if i wanted the NH-D15 for just 60€ more.. i cant add it so.. Its not really for myself but for someone else but the U9S should do fine i hope for a 5800x stock. Now i just need to find some cheap or decent fans to stick in the front and one on the top back so theres decent airflow 🤔

Actually, the Artic P12 and P14 PWN fans come with the splitter already in the wiring for the fan.
If I remember correctly. (I installed the P14s almost 2 months ago, still waiting to drill out the screws so I can install the P12s in my case).

This is the 120MM fans I bought.
