Gaming PC build: Tips and Critique appreciated.

Hello! I am planning on building my first gaming PC.  My intent is to be able to play most of the current generation games at max or near max settings.  My max price is $1500 U.S. for everything I need.  I have some nice headphones and nice gaming mouse and a copy of Windows 7 home premium already from my bootcamped Macbook Pro (Don't hate, it was a gift). After some reasearch this is the build I came up with.  I dont plan to overclock initially but I wanted the option for the future.   Any advice and critique is greatly appreciated.

You might prefer a mechanical keyboard, and based on your budget, you have the money to get one.

Here's my choices. I made it with a blue and black color scheme.

Thanks so much for the suggestions so far!  One question though.  I notice that both of you have recommended Gigabyte mobos and GPU's is the same manufacturer important for mobo and GPU?

Nope, just happens the gigabyte is a bit cheaper, the cards are pretty much just as good as each other.
