how do i know if i would realy make money off of helium mining

i like the idea of helium and stuff but does anyone know if you can actually make money and how do i know if where i live is good to do it? thanks

Seriously tho, you won't suddenly become rich just by installing hotspots, for it to become profitable you need: a) big coverage, like an entire town or several blocks, and b) clients.

my city doesnt have many hotspots tho, im not trying to become rich maybe get a few extra bucks a month you know what i mean.

^ video explaining stuff (you could watch the reward section if you just want to know the breakdown for that)

 

Seems like your really only get get money if you live in an area with a decent amount of hotspots already in place. Basically, if you live in the suburbs or country side, you'll probably make jack squat, but if you live in a major city with apartments and stuff, that has hotspots, or more people around you start to get them, then you will get more rewards.

Maybe their "hex" has more hotspots and activity?

You either need a location where no one else is but a high demand for IoT sensor collection. Or a location that isn't saturated by miners yet. Basically you need to be first to the scene to make money or fraud it
