Redux build didn't come with the ordered parts.

I feel like this is in my favor but figured I would ask, my pre built was ordered with a z490 chipset but I received a z590-p

I dont think anything else is different but the 590 is technically an upgrade isnt it?

Does it tell you what model you ordered on the invoice? It's the Asus Prime Z590-P that you received, correct?

Bigger chipset number does not necessarily equal a better motherboard. Z590 chipset does have better connectivity though (can support more USB ports for example, but that's up to the board manufacturer to actually make use of and implement).

Most likely though the Z490 board you selected was not available in their stock and they substituted it with an 'equivalent or better' motherboard to fulfil your order. Have you contacted customer support to see what they said about the different motherboard you received?
