Choosing a 2nd monitor

KrombopulosMichael

I've been getting parts together to pretty much revamp my whole setup. Obviously this is gonna be a 2 monitor setup. I think I have enough knowledge to sort through most of the crap in monitor listings, but the only thing I'm having trouble with is pairing the monitors. I'd like it to be as clean as possible, but without buying 2 of the same I realize thats probably close to impossible. Especially since I'm thinking of going with the 38GL950G-B as the main one. I'm ok with the bezels being off, but I'm hoping to at least match the actual panel height. So my main question is, with the 38GL950G-B being 1600p vertical, would the 2nd one also have to be 1600 to match, or is it possible to find say a 1440 one that matches the height?

I don't think 1600p 16:9 monitor exists. Monitors are mostly at 27 inch or 31.5 inch and they are too short/long to match with 38 inch ultrawide. You can either go 34 inch UW or go nuts with 49 inch super UW to pair with 27 inch 1440p monitor.
