Two computers, one internet connection - Is it possible to have two public IP addresses without a VPN?

Hey, I have two computers which I control with a switcher, each PC is plugged in to my router with separate ethernet cables, I'm not very tech savvy but I'm basically trying to get each computer to have it's own public IP address, is this possible? and how would I do this? in dummy terms

 

One PC runs Windows 10 pro, the other Windows 10 home.

 

The reason I want to avoid a VPN is because I want a fast connection. I understand the benefits of VPNs.

No. Your public IP is provided by your ISP. The modem/router has this IP, not your PC(s). To get more than one, you need more than one internet connection and more than one router/modem.

Or a business plan with an ISP, that provides multiple IPs.

 

Why do you need two public IPs anyway?

Thanks, it's a little sad but I use bots in an online game, I run quite a few at once but notice they get banned quicker if I play too many accounts on one IP, it was more to make it a bit harder for the developers to link my accounts up and mass ban them.

This is not true.  There are for sure ISPs that will assign multiple IP addresses to one connection.  This usually costs extra and is often, but not always, a business connection option and not available to consumer tier accounts, but that varies by ISP.

 

But yes, an ISP can literally just give multiple external IPs to it's customer if it wants to.  Heck in the early 2000's I had a cable provider who just, by default, provided 3 IPs to the cable modem.  You could hook up JUST a switch and 3 machines could have external IPs.

Actually it depends on each ISP. Hell it can even depend on what region you're in. Case in point, my ISP Comcast will allow residential users to add multiple IPs for a price, however it depends where you're located in their network. In some cases an ISP might make you buy a block of 5 addresses. Other restrictions they might add is having to use rented ISP equipment, Comcast requires this if you have statics or multiple IP's from what I have read.

Just be aware that you could fuck it up for everyone and the devs could block IP address associated with your ISP. I know for a fact some have done that before.
