1080 or 580

I can buy a brand new 580 for $375 or a used 1080 founders edition for the same. I want to play apex fortnite and microsoft flight sim.

The 1080 is probably 3 or 4 times as fast.

 

And the 1080 still has driver support.

I assume you mean an AMD RX 580 rather than an Nvidia GTX 580, right?

 

In any case, the 1080 should be a lot faster

The RX 580 does as well. RX 480 and newer still have driver support, it ended for R9 300 and below.

GTX1080 is a better card all along. Just make sure you arent getting scammed.

375 is about on point for 1080's currently.  That doesn't flash red flags.

I think he means an RX 580, so they both still have driver support, although they aren't comparable cards at all.

Since new 580's are going for way more than that, I'd question it.    Receipts will be needed for proof of original purchase date for warranty purposes.

I'd get the 1080 if I had to choose, without a second thought. Presuming they are legit, that is.

Everyone here is right - the 1080 is absolutely the better card without a doubt.
