ASUS ROG Swift PG259QN eSports G-SYNC Gaming Monitor issues

This is the third time this has happened and I am constantly having to power cycle it because it shuts on and off while I am gaming. 

It is a 700 dollar monitor and I am outside of the warranty date. Does anybody know what could be causing this? Should I contact Asus and try to get a replacement sent?
