can you upgrade a labtop screen

I have a rog strix Ryen7 5800h 17g with a RTX3050ti  with 16gb ram i would like to no if I can

upgrade my screen from the 144hz screen it has to a 300hz screen i dont want order a new screen

if it will not work if any one can help me I would be great  full for any help i could get thank you..

If you want a higher refresh rate screen, buy a separate monitor or buy a better laptop model. It's usually not worth fiddling with the built-in screen and replacing it. There's no guarantee it works.

there *may* be the option to put a different screen in your laptop, but it'll most likely come with a whole bunch of issues that really make it not suited for a daily driver laptop.

 

among the issues:

- a better display with the same mounting and connectivity needs to exist

- brightness control will probably break

- depending on the laptop, replacing the screen may be close to a full disassembly

- probably some more i cant think of straight away.
