Using the usb port of a laptop cooler

I have a gaming laptop ( Acer Nitro 5) and it has only 3 usb ports, and I want to plug a mouse, a keyboard, a headset and a cooler. Each of these can be connected only via usb, but the cooler has a build in extra usb port. Should I plug my mouse or keyboard or headset into that port, or the latency  would be to big?

I suggest to run the cooler with unused usb wall wart, those things depending on model, could take lot's of power from the usb port...

Not like they do anything. Put a laptop on one of those with a bunch of fans or the fans turned off and MAYBE you have a 1c difference. So op can just leave  the fans unpowered and not notice a difference.

I don't have an usb wall wart in range, but I could  use an old Huawei charger/adapter, but I don't want to damage the fans.

The cooler I use: https://www.trust.com/en/product/20817-gxt-278-yozu-laptop-cooling-stand

As long as it was usb, then it's probably fine, i teardown atleast 2 of them and it just contain normal 80mm/120mm 12v fan, so i guess you technically could kill the led but not the fan it self...

The page actually says it does NOT have an extra USB port so should not pass through.

Any USB power adapter will be fine to power it.

You are right, the page says that, but it has one, look at this photo, + I already have the cooler and I can provide  it has an extra port

Doesn't mean the data lines are connected... and using an USB-A as power input is just wrong.
