DVI cable that can run 1080p @144Hz

Phobosy

Right I may sound stupid but can anyone help me out with a DVI cable that can output 1080p @144hz? Preferably on amazon for prime shipping as has to be DVI as my monitor doesn't have Display port and cant run 144hz through HDMI. Thanks for any help 🙂 The monitor is an Acer GN246HL if that helps.

Single link DVI can only run 60hz, but dual link can run 144. Do you have single or dual link?

I'd assume its dual link? as how else would the monitor reach 144hz just a very confusing monitor its an Acer GN246HL if that helps 🙂

but... What? It honestly doesn't make sense to have a 144hz monitor with only DVI that can reach that...

Anyway.

Usually that's user error, because they didn't set the monitor to the correct refresh rate in Windows.

Nah you're good.

DVI-D and DVI Dual Link are different.

DVI Dual link is the :::::::::: -

DVI-D is ::::::: -:-:-

You need DVI dual link, DVI-d basically means it only carries digital signal not VGA.

So yes, a dual link DVI-D is good. Make sure it says both.
