did anyone had bad experiences with rubiks cube

i had a 4*4 rubiks cube and while solving it one of the centre pieces poped because bigger cubes than 3*3 are risked of poping.

i didn't noticed it because it was on the white face and it was facing down.

at the last move it broke, all pieces fell like rainfall.

i was close to fix it back, iwas placing the corner piece but it sneped into two pieces.

Pls Mark a solution as a solution, would be really helpful.

BTW pls correct me, iam really stoobid at times.

Then you got a really really cheap rubik's cube.

Generally it doens't matter how old a magnet is, while they do "degrade" over times not going to be to any significant degree that you need to worry about it popping.

Not sure if you're joking or not, but Rubik's Hypercubes do exist. Not physically of course, but there's a program, I think it's called Magic Cube 4D.

Rather joking, never heard of Rubik's tesseract.

But some 100 x 100 rubiks cubes sound difficult enough for now. Maybe difficult is not the word, perhaps more time consuming.

I'm... not sure how you would build one. But you can sure as hell simulate one and render a 3D immersion.

My experience with them hasn't been bad - They always went right back together and worked. 😁

Seriously though, I still have my original from back when they first came out and used to be able to solve it, fastest I ever did that was around 24 seconds, give or take which at the time was really good.

However that's been years ago and I've completely forgotten how to do it so I just leave it alone now.

I’m still working on my 1x1, when that is done I’m moving up to a 2x2.

I solved the 2x2 yesterday, I can do all but the final phase now without seeing a guide. Sometimes I luck out and I solve it without needing the last phase so my record came in at 3 mins 34.

I’m still stuck on solving 1 layer of the 3x3 but I can daisy to white cross easily now.

517

That number is indelibly burned into my brain forever.

Why you ask? Well pull up a chair, stay a while and listen

Many years ago (many!) I worked at a toy store, and our Inventory Tracking and Control was a bit naff. As in, paper only. The owner knew Moses personally I suspect, and would have us use clay tablets for IT&C if he could.

In any event, once a year we'd close the store and inventory what we had left, and compare to what we should have had. MY job one day, was to pull all the rubik's cubes out of a bin, count them, and place them back neatly.

517 of the darned things is what we had.

Neatly stacked though when I was done.

That nice stack was demolished in a few weeks by the customers.

So it goes.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.
