What to buy 3080ti FTW ultra or 3090 asus tuf oc

Hello guys I want recommendations on what to buy 3080ti FTW ultra (2200$) brand new or 3090 asus tuf oc (2500$) month use.
I play 4k 144hz

What do you mean by 2K? 2K refers to a little wider 1080p. Do you mean 1440p? It depends on the game, but you probably won't need a 3080 for 1440p.

Neither. You are wasting your money with these if you only game at 2K.

But at 144hz not 60hz, so maybe a 3080 is needed to reach 144hz, but a 3080ti (a slightly cut down 3090 gpu wise but half the vram as 3090) is prob overkill for this, esp a 3090.

 

Maybe just get a 3080 (if you dont already have one) instead of wasting money on a 3080ti or 3090

Depends on the game, if they're running something like Minecraft or Fortnite it might be overkill, but Cyberpunk or Warzone will definitely need it.

Well now he says 4K 144hz. Of course it entirely depends on which games you are playing. There isn't any card that can handle that with the latest AAA games at max settings. So get the fastest card you can afford.

A year ago nobody would have questioned the idea that a 2080 ti was a great 1440p card and even good for a lot games in 4k. Now the 3070 and 6800 are basically equivalent to a 2080 ti. And in that time no new games that are highly hardware-intensive have come out besides Cyberpunk. Yet suddenly people think we need a 3080 or better for 1440p? Perhaps if you want 1440p 144hz in everything. Warzone easily runs at well over 100fps average at 1440p Ultra on a 3070.

So what is a faster card 3080ti FTW ultra or 3090 tuf oc , power draw on 3080ti ftw is way higher

It should be FTW3 since the spec are extremely close between 3080TI and 3090. That being said you are playing 4K so double the VRAM may actually work.

Either way i don't recommend any of them since the price is absolutely absurd.

I’d say the 3080ti will perform about the same as the 3090, the ftw3 will be a better built card as it’s a premium model, however the 3090 has more vram and when u cam to sell u will get more more money for it, if u want to overclock and max the card out get the 3080ti, 3090 u won’t have to oc as much to get same performance. 
 

if it was me personally I’d take the 3090 but I’d be happy with either
