Nope, but if I were you I would return the phone and keep using 4G devices, instead of overspending for speed that is available at very few places around the world... Too much hype around 5G.

Hi all, I was wondering if I can get 5G speeds for a 5G phone when using a 4G SIM Card that my provider says does not work with 5G. They want me to pay extra for a 5G-enabled SIM so that I can use 5G.

Ok thank you!

I actually have a 4G phone now and I can get another OnePlus 8T at very cheap (not from carrier)
