What is the frequency response range of the M1 MBP's built in speakers?

I have Apple Music and wanna play lossless audio, I currently don't have a pair of wired headphones so I was wondering if the built in speakers on my MBP support lossless playback. Also, are there any cheap over-ear headphones that support lossless playback?

The frequency response and lossless audio aren't really related.

 

You can play lossless audio on a m1 mbp just fine, what are your audio sources?

 

You probably won't notice any sound quality differences, good lossy audio is very hard to tell apart from lossless, esp on not that great speakers.

Headphones don't dictate if you can listen to lossless playback.

 

The only limiting factor is the DAC in the playback device.

 

Lossless is typically 44.1kHz and above, and I'd be stupidly surprised if the MBP's DAC couldn't support this.

 

I'd point you to @rice gurufor headphones.
