Posted June 17, 2021 So, i got lucky on the newegg lottery and got my hands on an RTX 3080. But it is a GeForce RTX™ 3080 GAMING OC WATERFORCE WB 10G. Which requires tubing and a pump. This is my first time dealing with cooling solutions that are not factory-made. Any links to resources and assistance would be hugely appreciated. There are plenty of videos on youtube that outline how to set something like this up, but you need to know that your build is going to take quite a bit longer to set up, and be more expensive as a result of the water cooling. If it doesn't seem worth it, then like @tkitchsaid, see if you can trade it. Air cooling is always going to be easier, but your thermals will be better as a result of water cooling. Posted June 18, 2021 Man if i had a 3080 id trade you in a second but I was only able to get my hands on a 6800. Where are you located in the world? That card should be very easy to move to anyone who is looking to do water cooling. Id rather get a preinstalled water block than strapping one on myself. As for the cost to set up a loop it all depends on what you consider to be a lot of money but all you need in your situation is a 240-280mm rad, a couple fans and a pump/res combo and some tubing and fittings. Although if you are gonna do a loop for the GPU you might wanna do the CPU as well since you are already going that route.
